Living in the twin cities, its hard to find good offroad trails. It's taken me a while to find good places to wheel without being part of a "Jeep Club". I drive a Land Cruiser, Jeep people just don't get it. There are other options for trail worthy 4x4's out there. Every time I drive somewhere I see a Wrangler. In truth, that is the biggest reason I didn't purchase one. Don't get me wrong, the Jeep Wrangler is one of the most capable SUV's one can purchase in the U.S.A. it's just not for me.
Anyway, I'll stop ranting about what I don't like about the Wrangler and get on to why I'm writing this in the first place. Trails. It's difficult to find good trails in the Midwest, without having a network of fellow offroaders to travel with. So much so, I decided to start this website
Check out the St. Croix and Nemadji State Forest areas. There are a handful of great trails in the region. Check out some of the write-ups from www.Trailsoffroad.com
