This bracket works in conjunction with the Quick Release Awning Mount Kit (sold separately) and is made of black powder-coated high strength steel. It is compatible with all Front Runner Awnings and other popular brands like Eezi-Awn and Oz Tent. The 2 low profile base brackets are bolted onto the Slimline II rack, while 2 self-aligning bushes preinstalled on your awning fit and securely latch onto the brackets.
For added peace of mind, the brackets are secured in place using 2 latches with built-in safety catch. And when the awning is not mounted, the small and unobtrusive brackets can be left on the roof rack. With a weight limit of 20kg, this strong and 'rattle-free' mounting system is built tough for off-road use.
